Global GreenTag Americas CEO Presents 8 Hour WELL Educational Workshop at The Energy Expo in Miami

Daniel Huard – Global GreenTag Americas' CEO who is also part of the WELL Faculty is presenting an 8 hour WELL workshop at The Energy Expo at the Miami Airport Convention Center from February 11-12.

Part of the AIA / GBCI Special Program, the workshop is a definitive introduction to WELL and participants will journey through topics such as the organization and development of the WELL Building Standard, to intermediate topics, which outline key processes within WELL Certification.

Daniel, also a LEED Fellow, PMP, LFA, ASHRAE CPMP, GGA, GPCP and Founding Principal of Humann Building Solutions, LLC takes a thorough and active role within the green building movement in the US.

The 8 hour workshop will provide participants with Continuing Education Credits, which they can submit to GBCI, AIA and IDCEC.

The workshop will be incorporating discussion about key public health research to provide a basis for the seven WELL Concepts, and project support tools and resources. The process for developing Alternative Adherence Paths are also to be presented in the context of a scenario, as well as procedures for seeking equivalencies, using Cross walks, and developing innovations.

Finally, as a key part of the education, preconditions will be presented to participants in the context of a project scenario, and participants will work through a breakout activity which utilizes expert groups and a project checklist which will allow participants to consolidate their learning.

Daniel will also be involved in the Credential Maintenance Training Sessions at the expo, alongside other industry educators – in two separate sessions on Thursday, February 13th.

• Advances with LEED v4.1 which addresses Energy and the Water Energy Nexus ( a session that Daniel will be co-presenting alongside Emma Hughes, LEED AP BD+C, LEED Project Manager, US Green Building Council.
